Places I would like to go

It's been quite a long time since I have been on vacation anywhere. There are quite a number of places I would like to visit.

1. Las Vegas- It seems kind of tacky but very unique and I think I would like to see it in person at least once.

2. Ireland- I have always been drawn to this place. I love the green landscape and spirituality of this island. Part of my ancestry comes from Ireland so maybe a part of it is calling me home.

3. Alaska- there is something very majestic about the glaciers and stark landscape. I think I am also afraid that with the climate change, things may drastically change and I would like to see it before that happens.

4. Madagascar- It just seems like a very interesting island. I studied lemurs a number of years ago and have wanted to visit ever since then.

5. Budapest- I have heard that this is a beautiful city and just someplace that has always sounded interesting.

6. Japan- I don't know much about Japanese culture buy would like to find out more in person.

7. Hong Kong- Just seems like an incredible city with a rich and interesting history. One of those places I probably would not want to live in buy definitely visit at least once.

I always admire those people who just pick up an go someplace foreign and exotic. There are people who are homebodies and people who are travelers- but I think it's always good to experience new places, people, and cultures to expand your point of view.
